Elise Minkler CPDT-KA, Trainer

Hi, I’m Elise! Like others at Pampered Puppies, my love for all animals (but especially dogs) started at a young age. I grew up in Foxboro, MA in the shadow of Gillette stadium (go Pats!). I spent hours playing with my dog, exploring the surrounding woods, riding horses, and playing soccer with my friends. After high school, I studied sociology at Keene State College in New Hampshire with a focus on military veterans. However, after getting a part time job at the local pet store, I knew my future would include animal care.

After a couple of years enjoying life in Portland, ME, I returned to Massachusetts and promptly started on my journey to becoming a pet care provider and dog trainer. I joined Cavalletto Canine in Dedham, MA, where I trained for hundreds of hours with Dan Cavelletto and the rest of the team there. I eventually took over and managed the company’s Day School program. Over my 2+ years of work there, I was exposed to many canine behavioral issues – some conditioned and others environmental. I have worked with dogs in both individual and group (sometimes 25+ dogs) settings. I have also worked with dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes. 

I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). As such, I am dedicated to a compassionate and responsible approach to dog training and am thrilled that I joined Pampered Puppies in late 2021. Since then, I believe in Michael and Kim’s vision for canine care. There are many opportunities to advance my skills while working on the development of our training and enrichment programs in our Day School and Daycare.
