A typical groom begins with a relaxing facial and individually mixed shampoo, specific to your dog’s skin and coat needs. After a deep clean, your dog will receive a specialized conditioner that can range from a simple moisturizer to UV protection to a coat restoring polish to a soothing oatmeal cream rinse. The choice depends on what you request during your consultation with the groomer. The coat conditioning is followed by a blow-out and brushing to remove unnecessary undercoat and tangles. If needed, de-matting or de-shedding and then a coat trim will be done either to your specifications or breed standards, to keep your puppy happy and healthy. Eyes and ears will be cleaned (including ear plucking, if necessary), teeth will be brushed, and lastly a nail trim/grind and pad trim will be done to keep pets well maintained until their next visit.
